INTERBLOCS: A TEAM THAT’S HERE TO HELP
The Interblocs site covers more than 3 hectares, 800 square metres of which has been preserved as a natural environment within the production site.
It is also a business dedicated to customer satisfaction and rigorous respect for the environment, as Jean-Guy DELHAISE, Interblocs’ Director, explains:
“Our goal is to manufacture and market quality concrete products while limiting our impact on the environment! ”.
Interblocs currently has 19 employees.
A NATIONAL FIRST
It was during work on the Galaxia park in Transinne that a luminescent concrete tourist route was created. More commonly known as “Taglight”, it was Interblocs that developed this innovative technology, a national first.
This patented technology gives materials, and in particular concrete, technical and aesthetic properties that have never been seen before in the construction market. A stunning spectacle that highlights architectural silhouettes at night.
LOTS OF EXPANSION PLANS IN THE PIPELINE
But it doesn’t stop there… Interblocs SA has set itself the goal of building a new production hall some time in 2021-2022, as well as organising the takeover of Eurobloc, after an alliance between the two companies was officially announced on 26 February 2021. This union not only lets Eurobloc keep its local roots, but also share its know-how in order to develop the range of concrete products available in Belgian Luxembourg, Wallonia and beyond.
